EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy)
EMDR is a therapy approach designed to help the brain process and release distressing memories, emotions, and experiences. Unlike traditional talk therapy, EMDR does not require you to explain or relive every detail of a difficult experience. Instead, it uses forms of bilateral stimulation (BLS), such as guided eye movements, taps, or sounds, to help your brain reprocess these memories in a safe and structured way.
EMDR is highly effective for a wide range of issues, including trauma, anxiety, and stress-related concerns. Many clients find it particularly helpful when traditional talk therapy feels overwhelming or slow, because it allows change to happen without needing to talk through everything in detail.
Despite its powerful results, EMDR is not a premium service—sessions are the same cost as regular talk therapy. My goal is to make this evidence-based modality accessible and supportive, helping clients achieve meaningful change in a comfortable and manageable way.
Psychotherapy (Individual, Couples, Families, Groups)
With a background in neuropsychology and social work, I offer therapy that is both scientifically informed and deeply personalized. My education in Poland and the U.S. provides me with a broad perspective on psychology and mental health, allowing me to integrate multiple approaches into my work. I like to employ a mix of therapeutic techniques, with a particular emphasis on Person-Centered Therapy and Motivational Interviewing, as well as talk therapy strategies that make sessions effective, engaging, and grounded in evidence. I am also EMDR-trained and incorporate it when appropriate.
I work with clients aged 12 and up and specialize in supporting LGBTQ+ individuals, neurodivergent clients, and those navigating OCD, ADHD, ASD, life transitions, parenting and family issues, adjustment challenges, divorce, polyamory, and young men’s mental health. I also have extensive experience working with children and teens, having engaged in educational and clinical work with kids since the age of 19.
I believe the most important factor in therapy is the relationship between client and therapist. My goal is to create a safe, comfortable, and supportive space where clients can explore their challenges, learn new strategies, and experience meaningful growth. If a client doesn’t feel like we’re the right fit, I help them find someone better suited to their needs.
I invite anyone interested in therapy or EMDR to reach out and learn more about my services. I offer a free consultation to discuss your needs, answer questions, and determine if my approach is the right fit for you. Taking the first step can feel daunting, but I’m here to provide a supportive and welcoming space to explore your options and begin your journey toward meaningful change.
